Farm Day - A Huge Success!

We are so fortunate to have so many local farmers who donate their time on Farm Day.  Farm Day is an important tradition at WRS as it allows our students to engage with community members to learn more about where our food comes from, how farming helps our economy, and about how hard farmers work!  Our students get to taste apples and apple sauce, ice cream, maple syrup, all of which was produced in our very own state!  There were sheep, sheep dogs, oxen, Hollings the goat and a horse of course!  Let us not forget the chickens!  Our dedicated PTA organized a vegetable stand and many of you made sweet breads made from local VT produce. The Hartford Firefighters built a vegetable stand for our very own use.  For more Farm Day fun, please visit our webpage.
