Last spring Mrs. Suzan Locke first grade teacher and HSD ScienceTeacher Leader (k-8) was nominated for a prestigious teaching award:  The Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching.  We learned in August that she is a finalist in VT for this award.  I will accompany Mrs. Locke on 9.19.14 at a luncheon and awards ceremony with Secretary of Education Rebecca Holcombe.  Please help me in congratulating Mrs. Locke!
