Friday November 21 was a great morning here at WRS!  Our students in grades k-5 observed our newest staff members smashing blue hubbard winter squash grown by Mrs. Langley’s family!  This is a very exciting tradition here at WRS.  Our second grade students collect the squash once it’s smashed and wash it and prepare it for cooking.  Ms. Cerasoli is cooking the squash today which will be heated up for our Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday.  For more squash chucking and Thanksgiving Feast fun visit our webpage
