Many of our students received new winter parkas and hats over the holidays and thank goodness they did with these dangerously cold temperatures this week!   Please make sure your child wears boots, snow pants, a parka and a hat and mittens every day.  As we continuously tell the children, the weather can change dramatically within the school day.  We have a weather station that detects the temperature with the wind chill and I receive weather updates hourly from NOAA and WCAX - TV.  If the temperature is at least 10 degrees, we go outside.  This may change if it is wet or icy.   Please also pack an extra pair of socks and a sweater, the temperatures inside change throughout the day also.
