Many of you are familiar with the "Hannaford Helps Schools" project.   The WRS PTA set up a box for WRS supporters to place their grocery receipts in and WRS had the greatest total of all the regional schools!  As a result, Shaun Quelch, store manager recently visited and presented our school with an additional $1,000!   Our students were present when Mr. Quelch arrived and they were incredibly enthusiastic!   This money will be used to support the many important initiatives that the PTA provides our students: recess toys, artists in residence, farm day and ....our school wide trip to Boston which will occur next year!  I'm truly grateful for the outstanding support that the PTA and of course Hannaford Supermarket provides our very deserving students.
