Chucking 85 pounds of blue hubbard squash is a tradition at White River School. The squash is grown just for us by Ekolott Farm in Newbury, VT. The squash is cleaned and cooked by our second grade students and appears on our tables at our traditional thanksgiving feast where 300 people (students, staff, and guests) gather in the gym to eat. It is a wonderful day and celebrates how thankful we all are for the many things we have in our lives.
