As we have done in the past, we would like to ask children in your school to help the Hartford Norwich Holiday Basket Helpers program to collect canned and dried fruit for the senior citizen fruit baskets. We will distribute over 150 identical fruit baskets on December 8th. The seniors are so appreciative for receiving a basket, made possible because of the generosity of your students and their families.

Each classroom in your school will have a collection box. Last year the results were amazing! The number of cans collected was the highest ever recorded.  We will collect during the month of November for the canned food drive.  We need single serving size - not the large economy size cans.

The White River School is collecting - Canned peaches or pears.
